Our Mission
“Let the parts become less important, and the whole have its day!”
- Gil Hedley
At Summer Jordyn Bodywork, healing is believed to be nonlinear. It’s not so much about becoming an incrementally “better” version of yourself, but instead learning how to acknowledge and freely give love and compassion to all the imperfect, challenging versions of yourself.

We believe every person deserves the opportunity to wake up excited to get to be in their body. Whether you have been in pain or patterns of dysfunction acutely or long-term, this is possible by way of empowering the individual through providing safe, reliable spaces to practice how to receive (the key to truly recovering from injury/trauma and accessing your true strength).
We accomplish this via personalized bodywork sessions, human anatomy and fascia education, interpersonal connection, as well as options for guided, self-releasing practices.
Client Testimonials
"Summer is magic! She is so intuitive and finds just what needs attention and understands how different issues relate. She takes her time, gets to the core problem, fixes it and then educates you about how to take action on your own to move better and feel better. Without a doubt the most effective body worker I've ever found!"
Wes B.
"Amazing work, had complete release of tension without any deep tissue work that I thought was necessary to break up that tension. Her method is very gentle and works!"
Emily R.
"I have been seeing Summer for a long time now and I have always received exceptional treatment from her! I leave each time with immediate relief. She is knowledgeable and passionate about what she does!"

What to Expect
Initial Intake
This is where we get to know each other!
Here we address any questions you may have, discuss your health/injury history, as well as your personal rest and movement goals. Additionally, we may document your postural and movement assessments.
Options for Treatment
-
Personalized bodywork sessions
-
Guided self-myofascial release lessons
Each bodywork session is designed to meet your individual rest and movement goals. Whether that is to optimize your recovery and/or to enhance your physical performance. We combine John Barnes’ Myofascial Release, the foundations of foot reflexology, external and intra-oral techniques for the temporomandibular joint (TMJ), as well as other manual therapies like muscle energy techniques (METs) to accelerate healing and improve your overall well-being.

Each guided self-myofascial release lesson is designed to enhance your proprioceptive awareness (i.e., your ability to sense yourself in space without aid of your sight, or even more simply put, your overall ability to sense yourself). In addition to body awareness, proprioception is responsible for maintaining our abilities to balance and be stable, to move in a coordinated fashion, and to acquire postural control.
Progress
This is where we track your results!
Each session will end with further discussion of what you can do at home between treatments.
Review and reassessment of goals, posture, and overall movement is to be expected at the start of every proceeding session. This ensures you receive the care your body needs most, when you need it most.
